_{Duck Must Quack!

16 Pages
Silkscreen and Risograph
2023}

I imagine you can only ask but who is duck,
And why it must quack
That may be more questions than I can answer.
Not in anybody’s power to decide,
Except for maybe you, to draw your own conclusions.
I guess I wonder where the time went ?
How could I have misplaced something so precious ?
In a vatt of ducks and quacks.
A pitt that contains nothing more than the illusion
Of who you believe you are supposed to be.
it’s not that deep.
The apple tree doesn’t produce bananas,
It makes apples.

And that somehow seems to make sense.
Whoever told you that you couldn’t
That life would crush you like a bug
Merciless,
They were right.
But that doesn't mean you should surrender,
Buckle to the floor,
And remain there in silence.
Afraid.
So get up duck,
You must QUACK.
